Autumn

GOBIND SADAN
All I can say is that I am so glad that it is now Autumn! Our Australian summer was what we would call an 'absolute scorcher'  Days of 45C before Christmas totally baked both me and the garden. It really has been a disappointing summer in many ways as production has been very limited. But now it is growing slowly cooler and time now to spend on planting for spring. I so loved the bougainvilleas in India and Asia that I have planted many in different colours here in the courtyard since I came back home. So now I can enjoy looking at them from my studio door and think about cooler days to come.
