A Few More Jobs Done

crabapple
The crab apple tree in the front garden is bursting into bloom. Beneath it a carpet of sweet smelling freesias is making a spectacular display. The mountains are barley visible and the air is totally still. The waterlilies have grown out of their pots and are now one huge plant that takes up the entire surface of the pond. Not certain how to deal with that?
I now have the first coat of paint on the stakes that I plan to use to tie the berries up on. I find painting them helps them to last longer and I enjoy the different colours. More weeding done and a friend dropped in and I sent her home with some lettuce and kohlrabi. That is what I love about gardening, sharing what you grow.
